Laser scanning sensor is a kind of optical distance sensor using laser technology, which is usually suitable for the protection of dangerous areas, through the entry and exit control, protection and so on.The laser scanning sensor USES the laser triangulation principle to scan the two-dimensional contour of different measured surfaces. The laser beam is amplified by a set of specific lenses to form a static laser line, which is projected onto the surface of the object under test. By moving the object or laser sensor, the 3d measurement result is obtained.
In working measurement, the highly sensitive sensor CMOS matrix can receive the light beam reflected from the measured object to form a high-precision contour response. Any contour change will change the shape of the laser lines projected onto the surface of the object under test, thus changing the image result on the sensor matrix.
Laser scanning sensor is more complex than other laser sensors, and there will be a signal defect, so what are the factors affecting the realization of accurate scanning? One is to measure the environment factor, two is to set the time factor, three is to test the object's reflective characteristics and so on.Successful measurement depends not only on the effective signal of the measured value, but also on the environment under which the measurement is made and the length of the measurement time, as well as the reflectivity or absorbance of the surface of the measured object, such as the material of the measured object itself, the outline defect of the object and so on.
So how do you solve or avoid signal defects? Each individual parameter of the profiler of the laser scanning sensor must be correctly set and suitable for the object to be measured, as well as the correct filter, exposure time setting and so on.
