The relative attenuation rate basically reflects the relative concentration of the dust to be measured. The intensity of the light is proportional to the intensity of the electrical signal converted by photoelectric. By measuring the electric signal, the relative attenuation rate can be obtained, and then the dust concentration in the field to be measured can be determined.
